The recon advantage
One platform. One bill. Multiple solutions.
Operational Intelligence
Operational Intelligence (OI) is the process of taking a large set of operational data and transforming it into business insights that can be used to make decisions and take actions.

It is knowing if your business is operating as your expect, and being armed with data to drive more efficient practices that save you time and benefit your bottom line.

One Platform

Recon’s Operational Intelligence platform includes everything from the hardware for your worksites & assets to the analytic tools to make that information actionable. This includes all the hard stuff in-between like getting the data back to the cloud and keeping it safe.

hardware

Sensors are pretty easy. Making them small, long range and rugged is not. Our Smart Tags are as small as an Andes chocolate dinner mint and can communicate with your tools even if they're in bins, boxes or buildings. A real world range that's 2X our competitors with a battery that will last 7-10 years.

The ProxBox is the receiver that collects all the information from the Smart Tags and sends it to the cloud. They can be installed on vehicles or worksites. We've also got solar and satellite options for locations that lack power or cellular connectivity.

Information on all your assets in one place

Having the full picture is key to making the best decisions.

With Recon, you get insights across all the assets on your worksite regardless of brand, model or size in one place.

You don't have to have absolute loyalty to a particular tool or equipment manufacturer or go to multiple websites to get that information.

SOLUTIONS

tool & equipment tracking

Tools and equipment are often spread across multiple projects and job-sites. Eliminating lost assets and minimizing time wasting searching is critical to keeping project costs low. Knowing the precise location of tools and equipment makes project billing by usage possible, leading to greater accountability at all levels. Imagine the efficiencies that could be realized if the exact location of all assets was easily at your fingertips.

motion based utilization

Large inventories of expensive tools and equipment shouldn’t be idle. Knowing whether assets can reasonably be pulled off one project and moved along to the next results in greater productivity across the board. Imagine the efficiencies that could be realized by knowing how much and how often assets are used.

Supply Chain – Arrivals

Complex projects have many moving parts. Critical material deliveries are expensive, sent by multiple vendors, with unknown delivery windows. When a delivery fails to arrive - or its arrival isn’t properly documented - costly miscommunications result. Imagine having certainty around delivery time and location.

Materials Management

Excess or “lost” materials are a common phenomenon on construction sites. Imagine the waste that could be eliminated by knowing where materials are on site, whether surplus materials exist, and how many times you had to move them before they were installed.

Driver Behavior

With large fleets of clearly marked vehicles, communities hold company vehicles to a high safety standard and are unafraid to report violations. Imagine knowing whether drivers are following safe practices and having the ability to validate claims of recklessness and provide coaching before a tragedy occurs.

Route Review & OPTIMIZATION

Construction vehicles cover large territories. Imagine the savings of time and fuel that could be achieved through more efficient routing.
