Sub-locations allow you to use more familiar names for job sites or yards that are frequently visited or sites for which the street address does not sufficiently describe the actual location. A good example is a very large airport or a large campus site where street addresses don’t properly define the area. A sub-location is simple a defined point on a map that is roughly 200 yards across. A sub-location does not require a ProxBox, nor does it need to be inside of a larger location. It’s simply a location that deserves to be recognized because it is commonly known to the team.

Desktop

1. Click either the FLEET MAP or ASSETS tab in the blue tool bar
2. Choose a location within which you'd like to make a sub-location
3. Click the +ADD button in the upper right of the screen
4. Select Sub Location
5. Name the sub-location, for example: "Upper Lot"
6. Enter the actual physical address in the box above the map. If the physical address is not available, open google maps, or similar, and drop a pin to get actual coordinates or plus codes for the location. (Show picture of airport)
7. Include any notes about the sub location
8. Click ADD
9. Repeat the process for additional locations.  

Mobile
